JJ Beach Party was founded in 2023 by JJ Beach. A lifelong "beach bum," JJ was tired of beach swag that was made only for smaller bums. A full size gentleman, JJ longed for beach swag that catered to the average Joe, or Beach Fanatics with a little more meat on their bones: after all, the beach is for everyone! That's when JJ had an epiphany...go beach or go home! Beach Swag for plus size men. Bathing suits, beach balls, lotions, sun and surf safety, surf boards, sauce...anything you might need to enhance your beach experience. That is when JJ became America's Beach Ambassador.

In sixth grade language arts class, I remember our language arts teacher spending an entire unit on subliminal advertising. After wolfing down her two Rice Krispie Treat and Coke for lunch every day, she would show us the truth: advertising is evil. Instead of doing things like learning vocabulary or diagramming sentences, we spent an entire month learning how to spot skulls supposedly airbrushed into Marlboro smoke or innuendo in liquor ads. It was supposed to open our eyes to the treachery of the advertising. Unfortunately, I just thought it was fun. So, thanks, Ms. Lawton.
After working on the agency side for 12+ years, I’m now VP of Creative at JJ Beach Party. Now I use all those evil skills I learned so many years ago to help build one of the fastest growing Beach Swag brands of all time. I’m lucky to be surrounded by a wildly talented and fearless team of maniacs. Together we’re on a mission to make health and sustainability 50 times more fun than any beer, soda, or energy drink ever could.
At JJ Beach Party, I creative direct, write, lead our creative, production and marketing department, and occasionally direct.
